I am a director and commercial photographer based in Paris. I have worked in international production for 20 years. I am Greek, and I have lived and worked in France for 15 years.

I studied at the Lykourgos Stavrakos film school, then at La Fémis, in Paris. As a filmmaker, I was selected as a talent at the Berlinale and received the national award for best screenplay. Today I photograph businesses with the same standards as on a feature film, and I think of every image as a shot in a story.

In practice, three things come straight from cinema:

• I direct people. No stiff poses: I guide your teams the way a director guides actors. The camera is quickly forgotten and the images stay natural.
• I work with the light that is there. No harsh flash. I use very fast lenses to make the most of existing light, even when it is low, and keep the real atmosphere of your spaces.
• I colour-grade by hand. No filters or automatic presets: I select and grade every image myself, for a look that belongs to your brand.

Corporate events, luxury packshots, food photography: every project gets the same technical care, and I stay discreet on set.
